Our music ...
In the new album named Skorokruh a singer-songwriter David Vysloužil together with his band Acoustic Irish is singing and playing about his roots and human joy, pride and desire. David's music has always been characterized by the musical nature, sensuality and impressive energy performed not only on concerts – as if he were expressing that life and music are one thing. From the very first tones it is obvious that the band has bet on the sound and colour of acoustic instruments such as violin, double bass, accordion, flutes and whistles, acoustic guitar, bodhran and soft percussions and we must admit that this musical piece is a successful one. The album was recorded in the recording studio of the Czech radio Ostrava (Český rozhlas Ostrava), under the leadership of a sound master Radek Roubal. It contains 11 tracks taking you in their own style on a musical wandering throughout folk, folklore, swing, blues and, last but not least, Irish motives. The songs are based on David's charismatic singing, his genuine and imaginative lyrics, interesting arrangments and distinctive singing art of Tereza Urbánková, who also plays the violin. All this is supported by the great instrumental performances of the band members: Barbora Klihová – accordion, Michaela Caesarová – flutes & whistles, Kamil Tománek – double bass, Robert Rossmann – bodhran & cajon, and of other band guests. Despite the wide range of songs, from the very inner and intimate up to the merry and wild, this album will tune and cheer you up in these hasty times. David Vysloužil is an author, musician, composer and lyricist from Frýdek – Místek, Czech Republic.
